Re: Daily forum quiz thread

This month is hard fought, just 2 points in it and currently a 3-way tie for second place!

Re: Dead Island 2 February 3rd 2023

I will believe it when it happens, that game has had a cursed development arc.

Loved the first one though, zombie melee with masses of jank, it was great fun. A real co-op gem...

Re: The gig thread

Considered it as it isn't too far for me, but am seeing Opeth later this year and there wasn't too much else on the bill I wanted to see. Enslaved I love but have seen then oodles of times, Leprous also decent but again have seen them live.

but I think it'd be pretty funny if we had four of us with one each just sitting having a coffee break while the turrets do all of the work.

Re: TGA Ghosts - co-op goodness for all

Yeah, that's the problem. They've worked out that they've got customers on both sides of the aisle and on both sides of the gun debate, and they refuse to come down on either side in case they lose those customers. That wouldn't be as big a problem (even if my personal beliefs suggest they *really*...

Re: TGA Ghosts - co-op goodness for all

I suppose that's always going to be the downside of co-op games with a story; it's difficult to get invested when you've got other people chatting during pivotal moments. Sorry if I ruined the atmosphere of that bit, but to be honest it felt like it could have been so much more interesting - I real...

Marvel's Spider Man PC port

Canary'd this one, to play on both the PC and Steam Deck. Plays perfectly out of the box for me and looks the business. It is an open world game with many of the staples of an open world game, Ubi map spam etc. But then it makes you Spider Man, flipping and swooping around as you web-sling around th...

Re: TGA Ghosts - co-op goodness for all

Well after years in the co-op wastelands, the TGA Ghosts are kicking arse and taking names regularly. We (Raid, LennyQuantum, El Gaucho, me) have been putting in some hours on The Division 2, which played as a co-op team with comms is superb, even if you do have to wrestle with a purposefully idioti...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

And Prey also. I have a hard time believing I'll prefer it to the original which I think is great, but happy to accept it's at least the second best film in the franchise (low bar tbf ) I'm not expecting many to share my opinion, I know the original is held in pretty high esteem, but I think m...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Hey don't knock Predator 2. Gary Busey and Danny Glover wreaking havoc in LA is comedy gold. Agree, and the level of sweat in the film is also hilarious, every actor looks to have been blasted with a hose seconds before filming started. Day Shift Vampire hunting with Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. Good...

Re: Aaand, In Other News...

Bit harsh on AM that, mate Well, I'm taking it personally... This pleases me \:D/  He's a novelist with a $4million bounty on his head. Yeeeees, but as the 'bounty' was put out there by Ayatollah Khomeini, and that piece of human effluent has been rotting since 1989, it would probably be d...

Ooh nice. Getting a bit of an Agalloch vibe from the teaser.

Predator/Prey
If it releases, we can review it.

7.5/10
Not gonna try to top that, except to say that I loved it. I knew nothing going into the film, so the setting was a surprise. Actually not gonna say anything more, as I don't want to risk a spoiler, if you like the original go watch it.
